Help[Opinions] Pronouncing it wrong!
I would just like to say, that I looked up my name on here [Heulwen] and the pronounciation you have is wrong. Completely wrong. If was was to write my name in a way someone would pronounce it, I would write, Hail (as in "hail stones")- When (as in "when is the party?")

HIEL-wen is the same as HAIL-when.

Maybe it should be written HAYL-wen for your pronunciation. Just leave a comment on the name.

This is probably something you should post on the Name Facts board or possibly e-mail Mike C about if you really want the pronunciation to be changed. But isn't it possible that you have misunderstood the pronounciation provided by the database or could it not be that the way you want your name to be pronounced is wrong (I'm not sayig it is, I don't know if you're Welsh or not)?
