16 years ago opposition, let by Nicholas Jintery, try to overthrow the King from their exil in one of the neighboring countries. When the war started the King let his army to the battlefield. His son Albert joined them, against his fathers wishes, and they met again for the first time in 25 years. Edmund was fatally wounded in the battle and died in his tent a couple of hours later. Just a week later the army of Lobelia won the war and returned home.
The whole country was mourning for their great and popular King.
Albert than started to state that it was the Kings last wish that he would become the next monarch and that it was just right, since he was the oldest living son of Edmund. The people did not really like the idea of a young man that they never heared of before (he has been living in his small castle and never was known to the public) wants to become the new ruler. After the lawyer read out Edmunds last wish that he wrote days before he was killed the people knew that he did not want Albert as the knew King but his son Anthony, the public knew that Albert was lying, he was banned from the country and was never allowed to return.
Anthony became the new King, his wife, Tatiana, the new Queen. She had just given birth to their son Augustus, the new Crown Prince. Though the new monarch is very young, he believes that he can lead the country very well. His stepmother Beatrice is very nice to him and his family and helps and supports them. He right now searches for good fiances for his younger half-brother Edward, so that in case something happens to Anthony, he can become the next King.
