I know a little girl named Sigrid--because I live in a town with a high Norwegian population. It's not a favourite of mine, simply because I don't really like that Sigrid all that well (fun fact: she has brothers named Lars and Nils).
My favourite Norwegian names are Solveig (SOL-vay) and Ingrid, but there are quite a few others I like.
