[Opinions] Middle Name for Brady
The first name we love is Brady. Our last name is Nething. I can't find a good middle name that doesn't have some sort of bad initials. Brady is my husband's middle name. My absolute favorite is Brady James Nething. But initials are BJ. I know how cruel kids can be, so I just can't get past the initials. We also love Brady Michael, but the initals are BM. Michael is also a family name from my husband's side. Brady Nicholas is good and has no bad initials. My middle name is Nicole, so Nicholas would be a boy version of my name. His first name is my hubby's middle name, and his middle would be a form of my middle name, making his a combo of us. But is Brady Nicholas Nething too long? Another we like is Brady Grayson Nething. Grayson is my husband's mom's maiden name. (His great Aunt was the famous actress/singer Kathryn Grayson). I think it's a beautiful name and has family history. But is it weird that both the first and middle name come from his side of the family? I also kinda like Brady Tyler. No special meaning, I just like the sound of it. Brady Daniel is nice too. I'm getting very stuck on initials though. I can't seem to find any other name combos that don't have weird initials like BCN or BKN (bacon?), BJ, BM, BS, etc… Am I getting too stuck on the initials? Is it that important? Also, would a one syllable flow nicer as a middle name since the first and last name are both 2 syllables? What is your favorite of my suggestions? And do you have any other name suggestions?

From what you suggested, I LOVE Brady James, Brady Tyler, and Brady Grayson. The only issue with Brady Grayson is maybe the Bray- and Gray- sounds are too similar/rhyme-y. Also, while Michael isn't my FAVORITE name, I think Brady Michael flows well. Honestly, I don't think the initials between the first name and middle name matter AT ALL. I think that the initials between the first and last name are much more important, and the intials of all three names together. But most kids don't even know each other's middle names, and they never go by their middle name at school - it's usually just used by parents/grandparents, on formal documents, or when they're in trouble :)
So in a way, yes I do think you are being too concerned about the relationship between first and middle initials. Especially with the letter "C" and "K" - BCN and BKN doesn't spell anything weird, and I would never think Bacon. Also, for the length, Brady is a pretty short name. Two syllables and 5 letters is really not long at all. Your last name is also relatively short. There are SO many people with much longer last names. Brady Nething is very average in length, if not on the shorter side, so I wouldn't worry about that.I do want to say that I LOVE the name Brady. It's in my top 5.
Some other suggestions:
Brady Lucas
Brady Cole
Brady Carson
Brady Elijah

I think you are too hung up on initials. What's wrong with BJN or BMN? Granted I'm not well versed the the current slang but I don't see anything negetive there. Even BSN is OK. If your last name started with and S then the BS initials would be a problem. You have to remember that most people won't even know your son's middle name unless you tell them. And most of them will likely forget it rather quickly. Middle names aren't that important to those outside the family and the government. Some other ideas:
Brady Matthias Nething
Brady Elias Nething
Brady Reagan Nething
Brady William Nething
Brady Sumner Nething
Brady Foster Nething
Brady Thomas Nething
Brady Alexander Nething
Brady Louis Nething
Brady Xavier Nething
