The Halladey Free State wanted to regain some of the lost territory lost during the last war. Thus, they attacked the imperial convoy near the village of Sakura-jima, just 50 miles from the border. This restarted the old conflict, as a Halladey archer shot an arrow at Prince Roger, just grazing his leg leaving a scrape. This was very bold, and warranted war. This war was more difficult, not because the Halladey Free State was any stronger but because the Emperor wanted to take over the capital of the Free State, to guarantee no more attacks will happen. The capital was captured four year later in the Battle of Halladey Cleft thus the emperor was able to return to the imperial palace. The empress became pregnant shortly after the emperor's return. The weight gain was much greater than in the previous pregnancies thus the imperial doctor suspected twins. The suspicion was right. The twins are not quite as healthy as the previous babies were at this point. This is conserning to some in the empire. The Halladey Free State is no longer in existance as the Empire has wiped out all resistance in the Free State.
