The Emperor has Died, the Empire in Transition

The recent death of the emperor has led to an unusual set of events. As the future emperor is not ready to take the top spot since he has not completed all of the military tactics training, which is very important since revolt is possible in the recently acquired Halladey Free State, and the empress is not allowed to take over for a permanent position. This overshadows the death of the princess just one day after her birth. There is a new member of the Imperial family in the form of a Consort who will marry the future emperor. The consort is from the Kingdom of Rasputin. The Kingdom has had an alliance with the Empire of Nara for the last 500 years.
