Well, my fn is Belinda! Its meaning usually states that it is Italian for beautiful (and I have been told this by people, also). I also have a birthday card, you know the ones that have your name and its meaning printed on them, and it says:
"Your name means beautiful or pretty"
Other forms include:
Belle, Lynda, Belynda.
Is of old Spanish origin: Bellalinda.
