It's starting to grow on me too. I've been pronouncing it AY-lan as well, and the more I say it, the more I like it. You said it's cute. Does this mean that it wouldn't age well? Can you picture an old lady named Élan?
Any mn suggestions? Our ln has two syllables, so I think something one syllable or three syllables would sound better.
I think it would sound good as a mn also. I love Nadia Élan, but DH doesn't like Nadia.
