Elijah Gregor and Veronica Van Housen met at a bookstore. Veronica was working there and Elijah, a book maniac and total bookworm, was looking for a new book. He was having trouble finding just what he was looking for. Turning around to ask for help, he ran right into Veronica, who was just about to ask if he needed assistance. She found the book he wanted immediately.
After there first meeting at the bookstore, Elijah and Veronica met up multiple times. It was a year and a half later that Elijah and Veronica were engaged. They had been friends from the first time they met.
