Chase and Elie grew up together, though never thought of dating. It wasn't until they were the only two to show up at a group outing in 11th grade, which they later found out was a set-up, that they realized they had feelings for each other. They spent the rest of their high school days together. However, they had to go their separate ways for college and decided it would be best to see other people. They later met up again at a holiday party and, figuring it was fate that they were together again, were engaged less than a week later. The two were married on the beach 6 months after. Chase and Elie couldn't be happier and can't wait to have kids.
