Like Charlotte, but with Lottie as a nn

I think Charlotte is a lovely name, but Carly detracts from it. No need to destroy a lovely name with an inferior nickname.

Charlotte's beautiful - very royal and elegant. I'd prefer Charly as the nn, though.

I think of Charlotte and Carly as separate names. If you want to call her Carly, just name her Carly. Same # of syls.

Carly is nice spelt that way, I've never liked Carlie.

It's not the nickname I would normally associate with Charlotte, I would have thought of Lottie, but Carly is neat and I've never met anyone named Charlotte with this nickname.
