Year 1: First Daughter (Birth)
Just a year after Caitlin and Eric married they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Penelope Anne. Caitlin actually gave birth while they were visiting their friend Rachel in Louisiana. Their little girl has brown hair like her mom and blue eyes from dad. Her name was her mom's choice, and middle name honors where her parents met.
Year 2: Second Child (Birth)
Barely a year after Penelope's birth, Caitlin gave birth to another daughter! They gave the name Siri Evren, she looks like her older sister with dark brown hair and blue eyes. Her older sister Penny loves her and can't wait til she's old enough to play.
Year 3: Trip to Nova Scotia (Travel)
Just after Siri's 1st birthday, the family of four made their way to Nova Scotia to mark the 10th anniversary of Caitlin and Eric's meeting. They visited Clare (where they met), Port Royal & Grand Pré and Yarmouth for a week.
Year 4: Bought Fish (Pets)
As a present for Christmas, Eric bought his girls two goldfish. Penny named one "Bijou" and Siri named the other "Enzo". They live happily in their fish tank in the living room.
Year 5: Disneyland (Travel)
When Penny is 5 and Siri is 4, the family went to Disneyland for a week! The kids enjoyed themselves and so did Eric as it was his first time there too.
Year 6: Adopted James! (Adoption)
Eric and Caitlin decided to adopt, and found the perfect son on a trip to Australia! They adopted a blond hair, blue eyed boy named James Aaron. James is 5 years old, same age as Siri. His parents died in a car accident that left him an orphan. He adjusted very quickly and is close to his new sisters.
Year 7: Eric's Promotion (Job)
Eric recently got promoted!! From all his hard work as a grade 9 history teacher, he got promoted to senior high social studies for grade 12s! He got a fairly good pay raise and bonus.
Year 8: It's Twins! (Birth - Multiple)
Caitlin found out just after Eric's promotion they were expecting again, but this time there was a big surprise.....it's twins! They only found out they were fraternal twins and decided to wait for the genders. A week before the scheduled C-section, Caitlin went into labor. She gave birth to two premature baby boys, they were small but healthy and stayed in the hospital for a week. They named them Isaac Stephen (Stephen honors Eric and Caitlin's friend) and Daniel Efren. Despite being fraternal, both boys have brown hair and startling blue eyes.
Year 9: Found a stray (Family Matters)
Penny, Siri and James were walking home from school when they found a stray dog. At first the family took in the young dog, but it was too much with 2 one year old boys and the dog was starting to get to wild for the kids. Eric's friend Stephen ended up taking the stay dog James named Kiro.
Year 10: Caitlin's work trip (Job)
Caitlin left for a week to a medical conference in Toronto, leaving Eric home with the 5 kids. At first things got bad when Daniel and Isaac missed Caitlin too much, but things calmed down after a few days. When Caitlin returned from the good medical trip, she was greeted by 5 happy kids.
Year 11: A mini-Eric (Birth)
Just after the medical trip, Caitlin discovered she was pregnant with their 6th child! The pregnancy went normal until two weeks before her due date, Caitlin went into labor on a camping trip. Since the labor went so quickly and they couldn't get to a hospital, she gave birth to a baby boy at the campsite. They went to the hospital right after and their son got a clean bill of health. They named him Desi Oliver, he looked just like Eric with brown hair and blue blue eyes.
Year 12: Inheritance (Family Matters)
Eric's uncle recently passed away, and Eric got a big inheritance due to his uncle not being married or have kids. Eric had been close with his uncle Oliver and was touched to find out he left a good sum of money and belongings for his favorite nephew.
Year 13: Caitlin's Promotion (Job)
Caitlin got a major promotion! She was promoted to head doctor at the hospital due to her hard work and dedication. Along with a big pay raise, she also got a big bonus and extended benefits for her family.
Year 14: Historic Site (Travel)
Taking a weekend off, the family decided to visit Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump and Royal Tyrell Museum. Visiting the historic sites gave the kids insights to some history in Alberta. They definitely loved dinosaur bones!!
Year 15: It's Triplets!! (Birth-Multiples)
Many of their kids are getting older, but Eric and Caitlin decided for one more! At a checkup after they found out they were expecting for the last time, they found out it was twins again! It was an ok pregnancy with lots of bed rest though. When the time came, Caitlin didn't give birth to two.....she gave birth to three babies! They were premature but generally healthy, all three were released after two weeks. Their names are Elizabeth Niamh, Charlotte Rachel (Rachel after Caitlin and Eric's friend) and Nathaniel John. They all have brown hair and blue eyes.
After 15 years, Eric and Caitlin had 9 kids!! Penelope, Siri, James, Daniel & Isaac, Desi and Elizabeth & Charlotte & Nathaniel.
