Finally Thomas and Abigail have their first longed for child. They found Liisi in an Estonian orphanage and immediately took to the small quiet girl. Liisi had been at the orphanage since she was 18 months after being dumped there one cold winter morning. It was presumed her parents were too poor to care for her so she was made a ward of the state.
