This is exactly the kind of kooky, historic name that makes my day. Love it. I'd even like it as a mn. But then most GP names for me would make OK mns. I'm weird.I've always thought it was more like "eh-thel-DRAY-duh." But did I hear it said that way in documentaries or am I just making that pronunciation up? I can't be sure.

lol, I'm the same I don't see the problem with gp's as mn's. I'm one of those people who never pronounces 'e' like 'a' (maybe it depends where you live), so DRAY duh doesn't make sense to me, but it's not bad.
