Help[Games] **elysa's international story congrats** sign-up round
I've decided to start another story congrats game and I thought it would be fun to do an international one!
In this game you choose a country for your congrats to take place in. Both SO's can come from that country, or you can have one be from another country. If you choose SO's to be from different countries, you are allowed to switch from one place to the other. Also, feel free to have nontraditional families! In each round I will give you story options for your family (ex. have a baby, new job, etc.) and you can choose one or more of them.

Disclaimer: Since this is a made-up story with a completely original cast of random guys, I am going to write what I want to no matter how incredibly unlikely it is. There is no fun in pretending if someone limits your imagination, right? Right. So go with this.
Llywelyn was only seventeen when he met Siôr for the first time. At that point, they already knew they were to be married. Families like theirs arranged everyone's marriages and anyone who couldn't be married for good breeding purposes was married for good publicity purposes. Llywelyn is pretty sure however that he and Siôr are the first ones this has ever happened to- at least within any of the families he knows considering they're the only gay people he knows in their circles.
They'd met four times by the time they were married. Enough to know they were almost exactly a year apart in age, that Siôr liked animals quite a bit ("Something I've always wanted to do? See a burrowing owl. I know that's pathetic, but they use the old burrows of foxes and badgers and they live there year after year. It's fascinating.") and that Llywelyn thought a beach was meant to admired and enjoyed, but not the ocean part ("People aren't meant to be in the ocean. Sharks are. There's a reason they're there and not us.").
For over 100 years now, the Saise family has made quality dress shoes for people throughout the world and much of the family works for the now renowned company. Llywelyn is part of their marketing department. While he's good at the job, he has many other interests he'd like to pursue as well. Not to mention, he knows it's a joke between people behind his back about how cliche it is for a gay man to work at a dress shoe company.
Siôr, on the other hand, comes from a family with less money and yet is more spoiled.

They live comfortably in a well-secured house near a Rio de Janeiro favela (which is where her work project--an orphanage/school-- is located)with the money from her housing stipend. Meanwhile, Tiago is saving all his money for the inevitable trip/move to the US.

They spent nearly all of Liadan's week long holiday together--he nicknamed her "Lila," for he told her that her eyes reminded him of lilacs, but really, he just had a hard time pronouncing her name,--and shared a passionate night together before Liadan went back to university. In his little hometown, Gilchrist grew up happily with his older siblings. Gil Matheson was always the little adventurer, and it was no surprise when he brought home a Bulgarian friend of his in his early twenties: Nadezhda Yordana Filipov, the only daughter of Boyana Darina Filipov and Grigor Kamen Filipov.
Nadia and Gil spent many years together in Scotland. They lived as decent people, acting as the good Christians they are. Nadia was accepted by all the people Gilchrist knows. No one cared that she is a native of Bulgaria. Mr. and Mrs. Matheson were only too happy to hear that their Gilchrist had proposed to Nadezhda, the girl who had become almost like a daughter to them. Gil and Nadia were married when they were 27 (Gil) and 24 (Nadia). They have been married for a year now, and nothing big has happened, though both know that something is right around the corner as usual.
Gil is a journalist, and at the moment Nadia is working in the local schools.

She learned Mandarin in college and he knew some English, so the two of them were able to communicate easily. They spent a lot of time together and eventually started dating. Zan would travel to England and Eleanor would travel to China so they could see each other and after dating for 2 years, Zan proposed. They had two weddings, one with her family in England and one with his in China. It was hard for Eleanor to leave home, but she loves China and its culture, so she agreed.
