The life of Baron FitzGilbert, Inquistor General of Angleterra has become a prison. George, who continued in his role of trying to garner information on the rebel's evil plot on behalf King Henry & the LORD. His hard work gain him reward with the granting of the title Earl of Fishbourne, the isle where he kept a hermitage.
During this time his first wife, Lady Jane died giving birth to twin girls Edith Jane, who died shortly after her mother and Margaret Martha, who was a much stronger child than her sister. This event made George more determined in his duties as he felt it was an act of witchcraft that had caused his beloved to die.
George wasn't at all keen to re-wed but knew that his children needed a mother and that with his dangerous job he himself might not be around to raise and protect them. He sought a wife from beyond the isle nation of Angleterra, and found the young Helene of Montblanc, youngest daughter of Pierre Lengua-de-plata, Duc de Montblanc, a powerful Calaisian ruler whose family was related to the rulers of Angleterra.
The couple have three children, Bohemund Peter, Hamelin Mark & Hermine Anna. Helene is nothing like Lady Jane. Were Jane was longing for adventure and the high life, Helene is deeply devout & drawn to the simple life, a pair of traits she shares with George.
A year before Hermine's birth, Henry & his family were captured by the rebel forces by events that to this day remain unknown to George, although he has heard rumours that the Queen may have caused it to happen. George, knowing that his role as Inquisitor General had made him many enemies, especially in the the rebel camp retreated to the isle of Fishbourne.
Thereafter he fortified his new castle, taking virtual control of the populace of the tiny isle as he prepares for what he believes his the eventual attack by the Usurpers' forces to removed him for the mortal realm.
George has sent messengers to his new father-in-law in the hopes he will raise a force to help George reestablish the true order of the realm.
