Noor has just gotten engaged! Her fiance is 'commoner' Gustav Vang - although many would argue he is practically royal as he is one Lux's most famous actors.
In the 4 years since Miridor declared independence and civil war threatened to arise, tensions between Lux and Miridor have eased, in fact the two nations have never been on better terms, and Miridor's resources, which Lux greatly depends on, have been ensured to Lux in return for Lux's ongoing protection and support. The Luxuiran's residing in Miridor are now quite happy, although they are still loyal to the empire, they are treated as equal citizen and have equal civil rights as the Miridorian's.
Meanwhile, King Christian and Queen Elisabeth have, for the last 4 years, been growing apart. Ever since Elisabeth was forced into hiding due to assassination fears during her pregnancy with Cilla, the two have been arguing non stop. While the assassination fears passed and there is now peace, Elisabeth is still quite furious that Christian would put the country and Empire before their family. Elisabeth has began to realise that this was always the case, and she is secretly seeking a divorce after 16 years of marriage - right now she does not believe the Kingdom can handle such news especially since the last 4 years have been so tough on everyone. She also does not want to distract from the happy news of her daughter's engagement.
