Ok, the rules are pretty simple, I'll be providing two or more options, and you follow the "adventure" that suits you best. Each "adventure" will have it's own set of naming rules for that round. Stories are optional, but always enjoyed and encouraged :) Ages are optional, and you keep track of them yourself. I will not be killing off any family members in this game, but you may chose to do so yourself. I'll provide links to each previous round, so you can quickly find your family. You can chose to sign up and join at any time, just work your way to the current round.
Note: Just because your chose Adventure # in one round doesn't mean that you are stuck with that # for every other round. Each round you can chose your own adventure (hence, the name).
Adventure 1:
Your DH and DW met at a coffee house while listening to a political speech. After the speech, your DH struck up a conversation with your DW, and pretty soon they were dating. One thing led to another, and the next thing anybody knew they were married. The only problem is that the DH is a Republican and the DW is a Democrat. This leads to some very loud "discussions", and some very good times making up.

I really wouldn't use the term Oriental...

OK, I suppose if I wanted to be PC I could use Asian... but I didn't want to limit it to any one culture and couldn't think too clearly that night. Any way, I wasn't trying to be offensive, just descriptive. Sorry if you feel this term was demeaning in any way (ps, I actual quite like the word/term - It makes me think of the far off and exotic, new horizons to explore, new people to me, and new cultures to experience).

They dated throughout high school, and they decided to get married just after their graduation. They married a month after graduation in Nova Scotia in front of their many friends and family. Their honeymoon to Italy was paid for by their families and after a month away they returned to the prairies. Leo is opening a sports shop with his friend Nikolas. Then maybe in the future when he has more money, he wants to start university to become a high school teacher (major in social studies, minor in French). Valentina has always dreamed of becoming a mother, and is willing to push back her plans to become a nurse for now. Both are young and happy, and they are hoping to have some little ones running around their new house (a small townhouse inherited from Leo's uncle).

He is about to graduate and go into the family business, fishing, for a bit while taking classes so he can get started on his real dream of starting his own resteraunt.

Lev and Veronica grew up together in a small community just outside of Tiberias, Israel. Living in a relatively safe area, the two of them longed for some excitement and as young children often got in trouble for sleeping at the beach without telling their parents they were going there.
By the time they reached teenage they were madly in love and already knew they wanted to get married. This became even more obvious after Lev's father walked out on the family when he was 16 and Roni would spend every moment possible helping him care for his two siblings and cooking so his mother could rest after work. Lev soon got a job to help support the family and was really glad that Roni was there for his then 12 year old sister and then 8 year old brother.
Now that the two of them have finished high school, Lev is learning to be a paramedic and Roni is learning at the local university to become an English teacher. She speaks English fairly well because her father is American and her mother is Russian. Lev's father's parents came from northern africa and his mother's parent's had come from Poland.

Violet and Leo have been in love since they were fourteen years old, after a lifetime of friendship. The two grew up in a tiny little town in Pennsylvania, the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else and their business. While it's a nice place and Leo and Violet love their families and friends and neighbors, they spent their lives dreaming of more. They decided they didn't want to wait for their lives to start, so the summer after graduation they got married, causing a bit of a scandel as people believed the only reason you get married at eighteen is a pregnancy. But all the people they cared about supported them and knew the truth, and it was a sweet, moving ceremony. After the wedding Leo and Violet moved to Philadelphia, where they plan to make their lives. Both are attending school; Violet is attending Temple University to get a degree in architecture, while Leo is attending a local culinary school as he wants to open his own restaurant. He has already started a fairly successful sandwich-cart business of his own which he and Violet alternate working around Temple campus. The two don't have much, but they are still very happy and can't wait to start their family.

Leo and Viv grew up next door to each other in Petersville, a small town on the outskirts of a forest. Both of them couldn't wait to leave and move somewhere more "exciting". After dating for a year, Leo brought Viv on a trip to Paris. Viv was astonished and happy, since she had always wanted to go to Paris. Leo proposed, and Viv said yes. They got married in a famous cathedral and moved back to the U.S. Viv can't wait to have a HUGE family, one that Leo and Viv never had (they were both only-children), and Leo is ecstatic to begin his own business.

Adventure 1:
The local mayor, a Republican, was holding a speech at the high school coffee shop, and of course Deanna went there. She was the kind of girl who always spoke her mind, and she went there to protest, and to ask "difficult" and "uncomfortable" questions, Democrat as she was. By the end of the speech the mayor asked if there were any questions. Split-second Deanna stood up and asked something about the war in Iraq, not thinking anyone would answer. The mayor actually looked a little confused too. But then a man not too far from Deanna stood up and answered her. He looked uncomfortable and blushed a little (he was really not used to talking in front of lots of people). Discussion broke out between Deanna and the man, Rufus, and they decided to continue their debate at a dinner later on. At the end of that dinner they decided to talk more, and more, and then suddenly they fell in love. Now, three years later, they're married!
