The only Darcy I know is a professor of labour law in his 50s, happily married and the father of two. So, also taking the literary reference into account (you know the one I mean!), I find it comically bizarre on a girl. Luckily I haven't spotted one so far in South Africa, but cultural imperialism being what it is, it's probably only a matter of time.
