From the most noble house of Ramal,
In the mighty Kingdom of Solandra.
Barely after David and Carmen announced engagement, a marriage took place between them. And in an even shorter amount of time, news circulated that Carmen might not have been a pure virgin by the time of the marriage, hence the early wedding. These rumours were cemented even further when the young couple announced Carmen's pregnancy. The Royal Family was understandably scandalised, but both Carmen and David vehemently denied the rumours.
Dani and Ivette were at a loss of what to do, and after having a long talk with their daughter and son-in-law (along with David's parents, a detail which embarrassed David greatly), they unanimously decided that the rumours were false and that both had remained pure until the wedding night. Infantas Cristina and Lola were glad that their sister was officially freed from the blame, and the Crown Prince Lupito was evidently relieved that David was declared innocent - it was common knowledge that David had gained Lupito's admiration since they first met. The young Duque Nicolas was similarly gladdened, while Iker and Josefina remained in ignorant bliss.
However, a second scandal began to interrupt their general happiness. A woman from the area surrounding David's old land had began to proclaim that her young son is, as a matter of fact, David's. David was horrified, frightened that his recently-tainted reputation will be degraded even further, but Carmen gently calmed him down and assured him that she believes nothing of the woman's lies. In a while, it became apparent that the woman was only looking for fame, and she received infamy in its stead when her claims were publicly proven to be false.
