It's one of the few gender neutral names I prefer on a girl. In fact, I really like it for a girl. It still has a slight masculine edge, so it sounds more tough/athletic/intelligent girl, which I like a lot more than a frilly princessy name.

On a boy, it's okay. I don't love it, but it has a cool academic feel to it.
