I like whitney. Not enough to use it, but I do enjoy it. there is something satisfyingly crisp and wholesome about it, like the crunch of an apple.

I've only met a couple of Whitneys and they have all been female, so I do think of it as a female name. I wonder if whitney's popularity was hurt or helped by Whitney Houston?
