Yes, I'm saying it just like Amy. Although my first instinct is to pronounce it like the French word, and I'd like it that way, too.Amie Eliza was one I'd thought of but it seemed too youthful. I thought Olive and Amie seemed like a good match, too, but somehow they don't fit together quite right for me. I do think Amie Eleanor (I'd like to remove the -e), Amie Georgiana, Nolwenn Amie, and Tegwen Amie are quite nice.I think that's my problem with David, too. It's just everywhere. But for some reason I don't feel the same about Michael!
