I think I'd go with Constance. I loved it when I was around six or seven years old. While Temperance sounds fresher, it has no nicknames. And as far as actual virtues go, constance is more important to me than temperance.

Also, I like Pie's suggestions of Stanzi and Tansy as nicknames. They're more upbeat than Connie.
