Hilarion and Theresa are a very devout young Catholic couple in their early-mid twenties. Hilarion used to hate his name when he was younger, for all the kids his age would tease him about being "hilarious Hilarion." When Theresa met Hilarion, she immediately connected his name with the name of St. Hilarion, whose feast day is October twenty-first, which is also the day of Hilarion's birth. Theresa is named after Sts. Therese of Lisieux, Teresa of Avila, and Teresa Bendicta, who is also known as St. Edith Stein. It is mostly after Edith Stein, though, because Theresa birth was on this modern saint's feast day. Hilarion and Theresa were a couple of "youngsters" who both loved the Lord and felt they were drawn to each other through God. They were married two and a half years after they first started going out.
