Help[Opinions] Cassander
So the post below about the male Cassie made me think that Cassander, kind of like a masculine Cassandra, should be a name. Well, lo and behold, it is. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cassander Maybe I heard about him in a history class at some point and that's why it seemed like a name.
Anyway, I think it's pretty cool! I came up with these combos for it:

Dashiell Cassander
Dexter Cassander
Julian Cassander
Kieran Cassander - This seems mismatchy, but I do like it.

Cassander Augustus - too imperial?

I'm pretty sure Skelton used it as a form of Cassandra in one of those amazing poems that are basically lists of every nice thing he could find to say about someone. Good Cassander. Rhymes with something pomander.

I don't mind it, could grow on me. I don't think I could use it though seeing as though Cassie is my name.

No... It shouldn't be. It is, but it shouldn't be. Sounds like it's trying too hard. Just doesn't work. Not liking it at all.

Cassander sounds like a name a little boy would give to his big sister, Cassandra, because he can't say her name properly =\
I'd honestly prefer Cassidy on a boy -- I think it sounds an' masculine.
I think my favourites out of your combos are Philip Cassander and Cassander Augustus -- though I'd prefer August -- they just seem to work.

I didn't know it was a name, either. And actually, I love it. There's one thing and one thing only that would keep me from using it. The possible nickname Cassie. I can't handle that on a boy.
