When baby Aoife was only 2 weeks old, August was in a car accident and spent a few weeks in hospital critically ill. This left a distraught and worried wife and first time mum to look after Aoife alone. Luckily their families were great and really helped them get through it. August was discharged having made a full recovert with no long term effects from the accident.
