[Opinions] Sylvie
WDYTO Sylvie? It's been on my mind today. It's not the kind of name I usually like. Any middle name suggestions? Also, the name Aurora has been on my mind a bit. Don't think I would ever use this name though. WDYT?Thanks.

I LOOOOVE Sylvie!! I struggle with MNs too. I've considered Sylvie Constance and Sylvie Amaryllis, but only because they reference family names. I love Aurora too! I have a friend with a daughter named Aurora.... they call here Rori for short sometimes

I love Sylvie. Where as I do not enjoy Sylvia very much...
Aurora I would love to see on someone. I agree with a previous poster that Aurelia is a bit softer and equally unique and wonderful.

I love Sylvie! It doesn't sound as old and matronly as, Sylvia.I think Aurora is very unattractive. The distinct/harsh roar sound, is very ugly.

Sylvie is really soft and pretty, my only problem is I keep wanting to write Slyvie. I saw Sylvie June somewhere and I think that's lovely.
Aurora seems too much like the kind of name you'd get it you asked an 8 year old for "the most beautiful name in the world", if that makes sense. It has quite an awkward sound but it looks nice written down.

I love Sylvie! It's very fresh and bright but sounds very intellectual to me. Lovely.I'm okay with Aurora. Not a big fan. I prefer Aurore.

Sylvie - is very cute & kind of spunky but old fashioned. I prefer it as a nickname to Sylvia. Aurora - this used to be one of my favorites, as a middle name. I think it is pretty, unusual and romantic. (The town next to mine was Aurora & after that I couldn't picture myself using it).

I like Sylvie a lot, better than Sylvia, I think.

Sylvie is very pretty, stylish and graceful. You could maybe call it the new "Sophie," in this day in age.Aurora is pretty, but I have always found the name a bit overwhelming and fanciful. I'd opt for the slightly softer, down-to-earth Aurelia. Both are fair choices, I'd say.

I would definitely use Sylvie. It's feminine but not too girly. It's cute for a baby, but could also sound good on a grownup. It's a great name! These might be a bit boring, but that's all I have time for :)Sylvie Anne
Sylvie Jane
Sylvie Helena
Sylvie Genevieve
Sylvie Josephine
Sylvie Miranda
I wouldn't use Aurora. Aurora is not pleasant sounding to me.
