I like Avalon. It happens to be the name that's been on my list for the longest amount of time. I don't think it's all that unusual, considering the crazy names a lot of people make up and then bestow on their children. The only thing I'd be concerned about is people pronouncing it like the name Ava, because it's so popular at the moment.

I think it needs a decidedly feminine middle name because Avalon isn't very obviously feminine.
