[Opinions] WDYT of Eve?
Replies
Eve "Evie" is great. I would consider this name in the future if I was to have a DD. I think it fits nicely with your other names, although I wouldn't use Eve "Evie" and Vivienne in the same sib set, as they sound a little similar to me.
I find Eve disappointing. I'd like to like it because of my friend Evelyn, who always goes by Eve, but all I can think of is Cockney pirates: "Aaarrgghh! "Eave 'o, me 'earties!" which is not encouraging. And I don't remotely like Eva (it's a family name doomed to extinction!) or Evelyn or Evangeline or Genevieve.
It fits well with the retro feel of your other top choices, but they're all getting popular so it should continue to fit well!

I adore Eve much more so than Eva. In fact, I'd use it if my surname also didn't have one syllable. As it is, Eve is one of my favorites for the middle name spot. I think it suits your other names quite nicely. Re: combos, Eve would complement a variety of names. I won't make a list here except to say my favorite combo is Eve Juliet which I think is just regal and stunning in its simplicity.
I used to only like it as a middle name, but it has grown on me as a first name also. Simple, yet sophisticated. :)
I think it's beautiful.
I'm not great at combos, prefer to use family names. But, taking a quick peek at your name list (turns out we have quite similar tastes in names), from those I would make these combos-
Eve Mahalia (my favourite)
Eve Lucinda
Eve Keziah
Eve Tullia
Eve Rosalie
I think it works best with a longer, 3+ syllable middle name, especially well with those ending in "a".
I think it "fits" fine with your other top picks =)

I like Eve a lot. It's simple yet elegant, understated yet beautiful, and grievously underused.
