Love, love, love. It's in my top 2 boy names. I prefer Zack as a nickname.

While I like the nn Zac, I cry inside when I hear about another Zachary. Usually because the parents announce it like they have just discovered a never-before-heard name or they say "You never hear it anymore." Really? I have a cousin and a nephew with this name.

I see a boy who gets into trouble because he does naughty things on purpose. I also picture Zac from the original Battlestar Galactica so that's where it gets its redeeming qualities for me :)

As for a different nn how about Cary?

It's okay. I picture an athletic and outgoing boy. I think Zac, Zach, and Zack are pretty much the only nicknames. Maybe Zeke.

I like Zachary. It flirts with making it to my favorites list.
