No, no, no. It's one of my favourite boy names!!
I like Prosper in general. I suppose I could get used to it on a girl... it would have to be a shy, skinny, tomboyish girl though. With brown hair. Otherwise it wouldn't fit :P
I like it, but on a boy. On a girl, not so much.
I think it's horrible.
At first I thought you were referring to Prosper on a boy and I was like :D. Then I saw you wanted it on a girl and I was like :(. It's a no from me.
I do not like it. AT ALL! It is a bad name for a human. Sorry. ;(
Double Post. Sorry

Oh, c'mon. As if the pool of masculine names wasn't shrinking already. Now you want to pinch Prosper? Please, leave this one for parents of little boys.
If the borrowing went in both directions I wouldn't mind so much. But once a name gets used by parents of little girls, it rarely (if ever) goes back.

Yeah, ditto this. Love it on a boy. It's not feminine sounding AT ALL.
Nnnggg. I don't know. It seems strictly masculine, although being a word it certainly could be considered unisex. But I can't really picture it on a girl.
Isn't Prosperina a name? I swear I've seen that somewhere. I don't like it, though.

I have seen both Prospera and Prosperina used.
