It's been five years since Cassius and Godiva welcomed Lucius, and since then much has changed. Another son was born to them two years after the arrival of Lucius, a son named Maximus. Recently, Godiva gave birth to their much longed for daughter, Cassia.
Lucius has begun attending tutor lessons in the hope that he will take over ruling Brittania on behalf of the Emperor once Cassius' age begins to catch up to him. Cassius, in the meantime, is having a hard time keeping the Barbarians at bay, but is no longer participating in battles, as the Empire cannot afford to replace such a skilled general should he die in battle.
The family moved out of their home, into a larger and more luxurious castle, leaving their old home to Agrippina, her son and new husband, Gaius, a soldier under Cassius command.
