It's a nice name, but very common here in Sweden. I know a very nice Magnus, so for me it's a positive name.

I like it very much! Nice and Scandinavian/Scottish, with outdoor energy and a sound classical background. I've always thought that three Scotties named Angus, Fergus and Magnus would make me the happiest dog owner in the world ... but I always get females.
