[Opinions] Odelia or Odilia?
I liked Odelia first. It sends me into spasms of joy, I don't know what it is about it. It's lurchy yet graceful, dorky yet hip, wooden yet musical. It's vying for a spot against Ouida.
How would you say this name? I'm just not sure how clear the pronunciation is. I say it "oh-DEE-lia", but does it look like it should be "oh-DELL-ia"? Is Odilia clearer in terms of getting the long eeeee sound?

I prefer Odilia, partly because it was my great-greatgrandmother's name.
Apart from that, Odelia would be pronounced as oh-DAY-lee-ah in my country, which I dislike. At least with Odilia, people would be able to pronounce the name properly (which would be oh-DEE-lee-ah).

I love Odelia, and I would go with that spelling. The 'e' just makes it seem smoother.
As for pronunciation, oh-dee-lia. I don't see oh-dell-ia.

I'm still in love with Ouida, don't you worry! And the "dill" is what gets me too - I think i'd rather have it mis-said as "dell" than "dill".
I prefer Odelia and pronounce it "oh-DEE-lia".
