Scottie for a girl is cute, but it does remind me of toilet tissue. I love the Fitzgerald tie but I would most likley use it as they would - putting Scott in the middle and using Scottie as a family pet name.
I really like Jamesina Cypress and Wilhelmina cypress (though I might like Wilhelmine Cypress a touch more?). Cypress is interestingly frilly in a non-frilly way.

Curse that toilet tissue! Why do I always forget about it? Oh well, I still like Scottie.
Wilhelmine Cypress is great! Something about the e. Makes it look more put together. Thank you!
That's a great way to describe Cypress, and I agree. I'm not sure if it's the imagery offsetting the spelling and sound, or the Cy- offsetting the -ess, but it does have frilly and grounded elements to it.
