WDYT of Hephzibah?
I'm a big fan of quirky, whimsical names, so of course I've started to love this one. In my mind, it's sunshine yellow and bouncing all over the place. And the meaning is just as wonderful as the name.
I like that it doesn't take itself too seriously, but do you think it's too silly to use in real life? Would you use a nickname? Any combo suggestions?

There's a little Hephzibah at Ella and Olivia's school. She'd be 5 or 6. She's so cute.
I really like the meaning, but the sound isn't my favoruite, so I'd only consider it for a middle name. I think its fine for someone else to use.
I think one of the things I don't like about it is that I can't seem to come up witha workable nn that I like. Effie, perhaps?

Hepzibah is anything but whimsical and yellow to me, but it's an outstanding name. It certainly demands your attention.
I wouldn't use is in real life, though. Kids would have a field day with that one.
