1. This is my daughter Ashen. We call her Ash for short.
You say: Hmmm... I must wonder, why did you pick that name?
You think: That has to be one of the worst names ever! Especially on a girl!

You think: Oo! But I like Branwen better.
3. This is my son Brody.
You say: Brody. Nice strong name.
You think: Hmmm... better than some, that's for sure.
4. This is my son Cree.
You say: Is his name honoring somebody or something?
You think: Yuck!
5. This is my daughter Cyan.
You say: After the color, I assume. Do you like the color cyan, Cyan?
You think: Doh! At least make it SOUND like a better name... tack on another "N" and an "A" and make it Cyanna, and it'd be much better.
6. These is my daughter Ebony and Ivory.
You say: Are you different enough to have those names, girls?
You think: Get real, people!

You say: Hmmmm... do you know the origin of your name, Hava?
You think: Blah!
8. This is my daughter Kitara. We call her Kit for short.
You say: Ah! What is the origin of Kitara? Is it made up?
You think: Adorable nickname... interesting full name.
9. This is my daughter Lyric.
You say: Oo! That's a pretty name.
You think: Hmmm... one of the better word names, if you ask me. I wonder if Lyric likes singing...

You say: What is the origin of that name, I wonder?
You think: Hmmmm... different... I wonder if she's called Elly for short.

You think: GORGEOUS!!! Etty would be an adorable nickname, too.

You think: Yuck! At least spell it Paige if you HAVE to name your daughter that.
