It was an unexpected, but happy surprise to learn that Katherine was expecting again. The Queen and Prince had thought that their family was complete after the birth of Henry. Princess Beatrice was named after an ancestor of Katherine's, and it was a name both her and Peter liked. Victoria comes from Katherine's name as well as a great aunt of Katherine's. Charlotte is after Peter's sister, and Grace is to honour Peter's great-grandmother.
