I love Patience Dorothea, but not the tacked-on Marie.

Patience Dorothea Margaret would actually be a stunning, gorgeously weighty combo, like a velvet gown. Though that would be two names honouring one person within one combo, not sure how you feel about that.

I love Dorothea (prefer Dorotea) and Patience Dorothea is a great combo, imo. The Marie at the end seems unnecessary, not to mention such a cliche.

Patience is a decent virtue name, but im not crazy about pairing it with two classic names.

I adore Dorothea! I currently prefer Dorothy, though sometimes she gets eclipsed by her lacier sister.

Dorothea is a little big in the name, but that's just my opinion. Otherwise, Dorothea is a nice sounding name to me.

I know we're not commenting on her first name, but do you really want to call out "Patience!" if you're looking for her, or if she does something wrong? I understand if the nickname would be Pat or Patty though.

In general I prefer the zippy quality of three syllable Dorothy to four syllable Dorothea. But in your combination the flow of Dorothea is stupendous between Patience and Marie.

I love the name Patience, by the way. Apart from the obviously nice meaning, the sound is very light and pretty. I like the nn Pax with it, but it certainly doesn't need a nn. Kudos on your choice. :-)

Dorothea is so beautiful, it should be a first name! I don't care for it wedged between Patience and Marie at all.

Dorothea is lovely, and I prefer it to Dorothy. I usually think Patience sounds a bit stuffy, but I like it with Dorothea. I'd feel like Marie was tacked-on if you hadn't mentioned it was your name, but since it has meaning, I don't mind it. Overall, it's a nice combo. Very stately.

I like it but I think I prefer either Dorothy or Dorotea. I especially like Dorotea because of the character Dorotea in Don Quixote. It's spunky, and has a bit more flavor than Dorothy.

I think Dorothea fits the combo you gave very well.

While I find Dorothy to be quite dated and just a tad dowdy, I really like Dorothea. Then again, I love feminine names ending in 'a.' Overall, I slightly prefer Theodora.

Patience Dorothea Marie is a good combo, however, I wouldn't personally use Marie unless it honored.

I like Dorothea. I like it much better than Dorothy. I'm not sure I like the combo Patience Dorothea Marie though. I like just Patience Dorothea, but I'm not liking the flow of Marie after Dorothea.

I like Dorothea better than Dorothy because it seems to offer more scope for nns.

Marie is so bland after the other two! Patience Dorothea Margaret is a mouthful but a very distinctive mouthful, and I'd far prefer it.
