King Eric and Lady Emilie are very happy with the marriage of their eldest child. Since her little brother was to get the throne, they hoped she would marry the crown prince or king of another country, and she agreed. Annika met James at a charity ball, where they instantly connected. The two have been close friends since the age of 17, and the country (and them) are very pleased with the results.
