In an attempt to rid himself of his last burden the Col made an arrangment with Mr. White to marry Elisabeth. Elisabeth is inrtigued by her soon to be husband while Jonathan has not stopped to take the time of day to notice Elisabeth, like everythig in life she was just a business move.
