[Opinions] Re: Middle Name for Lucilia
in reply to a message by Bear
The only info I have on Lucilia is this http://www.behindthename.com/submit/view.php?name=lucilia and this http://web.archive.org/web/20060214181200/http://www.geocities.com/mp_pollett/aurel13.htm .
I really like Jane but my daughter's middle name is Jane. I also like Kate but I have 2 good friends named Katie I've kind of fallen out with, and I'm not sure if they'd thing I was naming my child after them. I'm still putting it on the list though. I like Clare a lot but it's my SIL's middle name and my niece's name, keeping it on the list though. I also like Corinne but not sure how it sounds.

Lucilius / Lucilia (ETA)If Lucilius is in the database, then that's good enough for me. Ancient Romans always feminized male names. Other than Jupiter I can't think of another ancient Roman male name that wasn't feminized. So I have a new pairing of names to love now. Thanks!I wouldn't worry about the Kate / Katie thing. Kate / Katie is so popular that I can't see them assuming the only reason you used it was them. Besides, will they even know if you've fallen out with them? ETA: That's weird. When I clicked on your first link the name Lucilius was definitely in the database. But it's not working for me now. I did check the "creates a hyperlink" box so I can't explain why it isn't working.

Yeah, I mean I still keep in touch with one of their sisters, and we're facebook friends and all that jazz. They are just at completely different places in their lives (stuck in the "college life" even though they've graduated) and I'm married with a child and one on the way. There's very little understanding there.
I think I'll keep it on the list thought :)
