How would you pronounce the girls name LETITIA. I saw it to be pronounce Le-Tish-a but this doesn't look like it would be too me? any ideas?

la-TEESH-ahFor some reason, the T-I-A part is just pronounsed like SH. There is also Leticia which, for some, can be pronounced la-TEESH-ah or la-TEE-cee-ah. I knew of one Letitia from school and there is a Leticia in my family tree.

Thanks for all your comments, seems everyone is in agreement on the prounation, but I just can't get my head around tia being a sh?????

I would say it a bit more like le-TEESH-a, but yeah, in the general realm of la-TISH-a.

I would pronounce it leh-TISH-ah or luh-TEESH-ah, though I like the first one best.

Letitia I would pronounce it like you said.Laëtitia would be [leh-tee-SYAH] and Letícia [le-TEE-syuh].
