[Opinions] True
What are your thoughts on the name True. Boy or girl? To me it seems very feminine. It's been one of those names that is sort of in the back of my head for a long time. I don't know if I'd be adventurous enough to use it as a first name but I could definitely see it as a middle name at least. What do you think of Saoirse True? What are some other cute combos using True?

Not a name.
Sorry. There are quite a few English nouns that I can totally accept as names, but when it comes to adjectives, I'm *very* hesitant. I don't even like Misty.

You know, I really like True. But I like it a bit less in the middle, because suddenly it goes from being a nifty surprise to being a one-dimensional virtue slogan-name.
I see it as feminine too - there is something Ruthy about it; strong, sensible, but kind.
Saoirse True isn't working for me. True is warm and round and almost plain, while Saoirse is pointy and bright and insistant. Something like Sarah True makes more sense to me.
For some reason I only want to pair it with similarily sensible and no-nonsense names, like Josephine True, Emily True/Amelia True, Margaret True, Frances True (True Frances!), Susannah True or Norah True.

Truett. Boy. That's my vote. True by itself doesn't sound name-worthy to me.
Truett Amadeus.
Truett Amadeus.
As long as it stays in the mn position, I think True makes a cute mn. Saoirse True is great. It sounds like a poetic way of describing someone who is loyal and truehearted. It makes me think of names like Sabrina Fair. I prefer Truth because I generally prefer nouns over adjectives for naming. But True does have its own swanky vibe to it, I admit.

Hmm..not sure how I feel about this one. I don't particularly like the sound of it, and it seems way too insubstantial as a fn to me personally. I do think it could make a good middle name.
There's a boy called True in Ella's class, so thanks to him the name feels quite masculine to me, but I think as a wor name it's fair game for either gender. True's sisters are Asia-leigh, Ffien & Shoshannah.
Saoirse True flows well.

I think True could be used as a middle name, but as a first name, it's too confusing. "True" is a common response to many questions and statements, and I wouldn't inflict that on a child.
