[Opinions] WDYTO Ellawyn
I have been loving the name Ellawyn lately.. I keep leaning towards this spelling because for some reason it looks prettier spelled out. Any middle name suggestions?? My last name starts with a "W" and I can only find middle names that start with a "w" that sound good with it. But, the initials would be E.W.W. Is that ewwie? lol
Thanks

Prefer Elowen

I agree on the spelling. Elowen is the Cornish original, and Ellawyn looks trendy and made up.

I agree with others ... Elowen is prettier to me, and seems more authentic than Ellawyn, which looks like a mashup of Ella + Wynn.I'd avoid EWW as initials. I wouldn't want them! I don't really think Elowen / Ellawyn W--- W--- sounds that great, myself. Maybe an R name would work?

I prefer Elowen by a long shot. Ellawyn looks trendy to me. I'm not too fond of Ella as it is. It's way too popular right now and I don't really care for the sound of it. I'd try to avoid E.W.W. myself.

I love Elowen, but not Ellawyn. Sorry, but your spelling looks like a jumbled mess. May be you could use Ella Winifred with the nn Ellawyn?

I looove Elowen, but not the Ellawyn spelling. I feel like it's turning an awesome unique name into a creative name that sounds and looks trendy. I also don't like -wyn endings for girls, since it's masculine in Welsh (even though the name isn't Welsh). I don't think initials are that big of a deal. I mean, how often to you actually use your initials anyway?
