[Opinions] :-D
Maureen is my niece's name. She's 21 years old. Her mother said she wanted to name her after the most beautiful woman she could think of and Maureen O'Hara came to mind. Great choice on both counts, I say. :-) She goes by the nn Mo which is super cute. I'm the annoying aunt who calls her by the more formal Maureen because it is everything you describe. Plus, I love how rare it is for her age group. She's from a mid-sized town and says that there are little Maureens popping up in the parish. I bet they heard about my niece and liekd the name. Or so I'd like to think. I don't think the name is catching on anywhere else, more's the pity. Maureen Elizabeth is her name, although Maureen Glynis is my stock combo. From your list I love / adore:Maureen Adelaide / Adela / Adele / Alice
