Lately, the name Anisa has been one of my favorites. I think it sounds beautiful, and the meaning is nice too.

I think it's beautiful. I prefer Anissa spelling better. I love Anika/Annika too.

I don't know why you got such take-it-or-leave-it responses! I have never heard Anisa but I think it is absolutely beautiful! I will totally be asking my husband about that one tonight. I'd use it in a heartbeat. And the meaning is a nice bonus.

Adore Anisa!
It is sweet yet mature. I especially care for it because the gaelic meaning for my name is friend. I have long considered it as a usable name. It really sounds like a lovely woman or girl IMO.
edit: I also like the more complicated and fussy: Anissia (ah-nees-ee-uh)
