I like the sparkling emerald Liza-Minelli-black-eyeliner-top-hat-burlesque-sorceress vibe I get from Esme. I like the sharp buzzing zzzzzzz in there. Aimee is nice too but I can't deny that I like Esme more.

My parents named me Amy, which I can't stand. Aimee, even if you pronounce it the French way still sounds kind of 70s to me. I've always liked Esme, despite the "twilight" connotations.

Aimee, though I much prefer Amy, it looks sweeter.

Esme is a masculine name, Esmee is a feminine name (IMO), but either one sounds really ugly. Like a sneeze.
