Not sure where you are located, but in the United States it is increasing in popularity very quickly, a century ago it was at #271, stayed about the same until the seventies but it has shot up and it is now #28 and keeps increasing each year

You can look up changing popularity of a name in the U.S. at http://www.socialsecurity.gov/OACT/babynames/ . Just enter the name in the lower right-hand box, and the number of years back you want to search.
